would like to congratulate the Department of Anatomy, King George’s Medical University, UP, Lucknow for organizing 68th National Conference of Anatomical Society of India scheduled from 28 – 30 January 2022 on virtual platform.
The theme signed for CME entitled “Expanding Horizons of Anatomy: Knowing the Unknown” in this conference is being explored at a level never imagined before. With the incorporation of the new curriculum by NMC for MBBS students there is a provision of vertical and horizontal integration with other departments, therefore the theme of CME will be significant for undergraduates and postgraduates of both departments, Anatomy as well as Forensic Medicine.

I am delighted that 69th NATCON is being organized at Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences Gadag Karnataka, India, by anatomy department under able guidance of Dr. P. S BHUSARADDI Director, Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences, Gadag, Karnataka, India.
Anatomy, is backbone and most important basic subject in Medical Education and creation of a doctor, is always considered to be a very difficult and vast subject dealing with dead body or cadaver. Recently more and more technology driven and clinically oriented teaching has made it more attractive, interesting and lively.
Dimensions are being added to it, which not only help students to learn Anatomy in a better way but also helps clinicians to diagnose approach and treat the patients in a better way. We anatomists have to move in appropriate pace with updated and upgradation of medical curriculum, need based and with latest technological developments.
I am sure that delegates will enjoy a great academic feast of national conference of Anatomical Society of India and hospitality of organizers.
I wish organizing team and all members participating in Anatomical Society of India NATCON 69 a big Grand success.
Welcome and best wishes to all participants, panellists and guest speakers to tehis ASI NATCON 69 at Gadag, Karnataka.

Greetings from the Organizing Committee,
We at Department of Anatomy, Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Gadag are immensely pleased and privileged to extend a very warm invitation to this mega event which will be organized from 08th to 11th of December 2022.
The congress is being held under the aegis of Anatomical Society of India (ASI) and supported by International Federation of Association of Anatomists (IFAA).
Gadag is a district place in the heart of Northern Karnataka with a great historical background and has given our country many famous personalities. The town has 11th and 12th century monuments; the temple of Veera Narayana and the Trikuteshwara complex are sites of religious and historic importance. One of the two main Jain temples is dedicated to Mahavira. Gadag is surrounded by many beautiful nearby places like Hampi, Badami, Pattadkal, Aihole, Lakkundi to mention a few. All these places are well known for their architecture and sculptures in temples of historical existence. Goa is just 215 kilometers from Gadag.
Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences is located in the outskirts of the city at District Hospital campus, Mallasamudra surrounded by hills and wind mills with a serene atmosphere. GIMS is a budding autonomous institute affiliated to Government of Karnataka.
As there are highest number of Anatomists from India, we are privileged to convene this congress to bring together anatomists and other scientists from around the globe to present and debate the latest and best research on anatomy and allied branches. The congress offers an excellent opportunity to colleagues, across the world to interact and enhance Anatomical knowledge.
